About the event
For centuries civilizations have relied on their connection with the earth to resolve life's challenges. Crafting tinctures for colds and potions for love. In this lecture-style course, we will analyze the history of the world's favorite herbs from medicinal to mystical. We will compare plants and endeavor to understand the relationship between their remedial uses and their spiritual counterparts, seeking to uncover the secrets behind why they were chosen for certain spell-work.
This class takes a step back to analyze human spirituality from a scientific, horticultural point of view. Samples will be present for students to gain hands-on experience with plant identification as we delve into the story of each species.
All are welcome, especially those with an interest in herbology and history as well as beginners in witchcraft. Students will leave with a stronger relationship with green witchcraft as well as a working knowledge of medicinal plants.
